Private Event

The charity event benefited Minding Your Mind, supporting mental-health education and suicide-prevention training throughout New Jersey. It was created in memory of Kyle Craig, a Spring Lake native and Vanderbilt student who died by suicide in 2010. The 2019 event also honored Laurie Tobia, a young adult from Spring Lake who had died by suicide earlier that year. More than 350 people attended, and the official recap specifically says the evening included raffles and dancing with DJZA.
