The Result

Applegate Emerging Brands Meeting at Hyatt Regency Princeton

The Applegate Emerging Brands meeting brought teams from across Hormel Foods to Hyatt Regency Princeton for an annual internal program built around a preppy visual direction. Class Kills supported the event with coordinated video, audio, wireless microphones, lighting, and scenic drape for an agenda of presentations, custom content, polling, guest speakers, and panels.

A Preppy, Collegiate-Inspired Environment

Forest green and ivory drape established the event’s primary palette and helped create the intended collegiate feel. Class Kills installed 70 feet of Georgia Expo Poly Premier certified pipe and drape in black, green, and ivory to shape the space and support the themed environment.

Video and Presentation Support

Two 14-foot video walls provided large-format surfaces for presentation and video playback, with a 50-inch monitor positioned on stage for additional presenter support. The video system was used for presentations, custom video playback, and polling software including Mentimeter.

Audio for Presenters and Panels

Class Kills deployed a JBL SRX900-series audio package to provide coverage throughout the room. The system included six JBL SRX906LA loudspeakers, two JBL SRX918 subwoofers, and an Allen & Heath SQ5 digital mixing console.

For guest speakers and panels of up to eight people, the production included a Shure QLXD wireless microphone package:

  • Six Shure QLXD handheld microphones
  • Two Shure QLXD lavalier microphones

Lighting for the Stage and Room

  • Four Chauvet Professional Rogue R2 fixtures
  • Four Chauvet DJ Intimidator Wash/Zoom 450 IRC fixtures
