Kristin & Bernard's Wedding at Newport Vineyards

Kristin & Bernard's Newport Vineyards wedding brought the couple from New Jersey to Newport, Rhode Island, a place connected to Kristin's childhood summer family vacations. The day was planned around the vineyard setting, with a ceremony intended for the rows of grape vines and a reception at the winery.

A Summer Storm and a Cask-Room Ceremony

A summer storm changed the ceremony plan, moving it indoors to one of Newport Vineyards' cask rooms. Kristin and Bernard exchanged vows before a wall of wooden casks of aging wine. Rustic benches lined the room for their guests, while rain could be heard on the roof. Kristin's stepfather officiated.

From Vows to a Candlelit Reception

After the ceremony, guests tossed mini beach balls as the newlyweds exited the cask room and joined the festivities. The reception was candlelit, and guests enjoyed wine at the vineyard.
